Greetings!

Do you know that Koreans have two New Year’s Days?

Most Koreans think that the lunar New Year’s Day is more important than the solar New Year’s. We have celebrated it for centuries.

It is called Shul-nal in Korean. All of the family members get together and eat DDuckuk to signify our becoming another year older. Children wear Hanbok and kowtow to elders on the morning of New year’s day. The adults give them some good advice with money gift.

Happy Lunar New Year’s Day!
